Agos LLC builds apps that do their work on your device. As a rule, we do not collect your personal information, and where a product handles your content, it is encrypted so that we cannot read it.
The short version. Tach and Fingularity collect nothing and send nothing to us. Everyday Counter encrypts your content on your device before it ever leaves, and we hold only encrypted data we have no key for. The sections below describe how each of these products handles information.
Who we are
Agos LLC is a California limited liability company. If you have questions about this policy or how a product handles information, use the contact page and we will respond directly.
Tach
Tach reads system information from your device and displays it to you. That information is processed on the device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
- No account, no sign-in, and no user identifier.
- No analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising or tracking SDKs.
- No network requests carrying your data.
Because nothing is transmitted, there is no server-side record of you associated with Tach, and nothing for us to disclose, sell, or hand over.
Fingularity
Fingularity is a game. Game progress and settings are stored on your device.
- No analytics, no advertising, and no tracking SDKs.
- Leaderboards are provided through Apple's Game Center. If you choose to submit a score, that interaction is between you and Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We do not operate our own leaderboard server and do not receive your Game Center identity.
- You can play without using Game Center at all.
Everyday Counter
Everyday Counter is a shared space for a family or a small group of friends. It is designed so that we cannot read what you put in it.
End-to-end encryption
Your content, including messages, plans, photos, and lists, is encrypted on your device before it is sent. We store only the encrypted result. The key needed to decrypt it stays with your group and is never sent to our servers. This means that we cannot read your content, we cannot produce it in readable form if we are asked to, and a breach of our storage would expose encrypted data rather than your family's photos and plans.
The trade-off is real and you should know it: if every member of a group loses their key, that group's content cannot be recovered. We have no master key and no backdoor. That is the point, but it does mean recovery is not something we are able to offer.
What we do hold
To run the service we handle a small amount of operational information:
- Encrypted content. Stored so your group can load it later. Unreadable to us.
- Account basics. An email address for the adult who creates a group, used to sign in and to send service messages about the account.
- Technical logs. Standard server records such as IP address and timestamps, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention, then deleted.
We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell or rent information to anyone, and we do not use your content to train machine learning models.
Children
Everyday Counter is intended to be used by families, which means children may take part. Children participate only inside a private group created and controlled by a parent or guardian. There is no public profile, no directory, no discovery, and no way for someone outside the group to find or contact a child through the service.
Before a child under 13 can take part, we obtain verifiable parental consent from a parent or guardian in the manner required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We collect from children only what is needed for them to participate in their own family's group, and that content is end-to-end encrypted like everything else. A parent or guardian may review what their child has contributed, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent at any time, which ends the child's participation. To make any of these requests, use the contact page.
Group membership
A group is closed. People join only by invitation from the parent or adult who administers it, and that administrator decides who is in the group and can remove members at any time.
This website
agosllc.com is a static site. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics on it.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. If you submit the contact form, we receive what you type into it, described below. Our hosting and content delivery providers keep standard server logs.
The contact form
When you send us a message we receive your name, your email address, the product you selected, and the message itself. We use it to answer you and we keep the correspondence only as long as it is useful for that purpose. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass your address to anyone else.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to receive a copy. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we never have.
For most of our products, an access or deletion request has a short answer: we hold nothing to give you. For Everyday Counter, we can delete your account and the encrypted content associated with it, though we cannot provide the content in readable form because we cannot read it. Make any request through the contact page.
Third parties
We keep these to a minimum. We use service providers for hosting, content delivery, and email delivery for the contact form. They process information on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Apple operates the App Store and Game Center under its own privacy policy, which governs your relationship with Apple.
Security
Content in Everyday Counter is encrypted on your device before transmission. Traffic to our sites and services is encrypted in transit. Credentials for our own infrastructure are stored as secrets and are not embedded in any app or web page. No system is perfectly secure, but a design that never receives your readable content limits what any failure can expose.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how a product handles your information, we will say so plainly rather than quietly revising the text.
Contact
Questions, requests, or concerns about privacy go through the contact page. A person reads these.
