Privacy & safety are built in
Photo scanning happens on your iPhone or iPad. FREE-UP collects no user data, uses no analytics or third-party SDKs, and requires only Photo Library access (full or limited). Nothing is preselected. With iCloud Photos, deletions may sync across your devices. Deleted items normally remain recoverable in Recently Deleted for 30 days, unless removed sooner.

Honest about limits
FREE-UP does not speed up your phone, clear RAM or System Data, or clean other apps' caches. Estimated potential savings aren't guaranteed, and iCloud-optimized originals may occupy less local space than their full sizes suggest. Is FREE-UP really free?
Yes. No subscriptions, trials, in-app purchases, ads, or post-scan paywalls.
Does it upload photos?
No. Photo analysis stays on your device. FREE-UP does not collect or transmit your library.
Will anything be deleted automatically?
No. Nothing is preselected. You select and confirm, then iOS asks for confirmation.
What happens after deletion?
Items normally go to Recently Deleted for 30 days. If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletion may sync to your other devices.
Can it clear system data or speed up my iPhone?
No. It does not remove other apps’ caches, System Data or RAM, or claim to boost device speed.
Does it work with iCloud Photos?
Yes. Items stored only in iCloud are labeled, and downloading requires your permission.
What photo permissions are required?
Photo Library access, either full access or selected photos. Limited access produces partial scan results.
Is there an Android version?
Yes. FREE-UP is available now on Google Play. The iPhone and iPad release is being prepared for App Store submission.
