At a glance
FREE-UP runs its photo-library scanning and duplicate/similarity analysis on your iPhone or iPad. We do not collect, upload, sell, or track photos, videos, scan results or device storage information. There are no FREE-UP accounts, ads, analytics, servers or third-party SDKs.
Permissions and local processing
FREE-UP requests access to your Photo Library using Apple's permission controls. You may grant full access or limited access to selected photos; limited access means scan results are partial. You may change access in iOS Settings. Photos, metadata, calculated hashes, previews and scan results are processed locally on your device. The app uses device storage information only to display local capacity and a free-space-based Storage Score.
iCloud Photos
FREE-UP may display items stored only in iCloud and labels them accordingly. It does not intentionally download iCloud-only originals without your permission. When iCloud Photos is enabled, deleting a photo on your device can delete it on other synced devices as well.
Deletion and recovery
No items are preselected or removed automatically. You review and confirm deletion and iOS also displays its own confirmation. Deleted media normally remains in the Photos app's Recently Deleted album for 30 days unless you permanently delete it sooner. Storage savings may not appear immediately.
Data collection and sharing
AGOS LLC collects no user data through FREE-UP. FREE-UP does not send photos, videos, scan results, device-storage details or personal identifiers to AGOS LLC. Scanning does not require a network connection. If you choose to open a website link or contact AGOS LLC, that separate service may process the information you voluntarily provide under the AGOS LLC website privacy policy.
Children and security
FREE-UP does not create accounts or profile users. Data analyzed by the app stays in the platform's protected local environment, subject to your device's own security settings.
